The Name: Fay-nights comes from:- fay (n) goddess of destiny (plus) nights (n) retire to sleep. A hyphen is used to join fay+night, thus making one word, as a child I was told all disputes/disagreements must end before bedtime. Two fingers on each hand were crossed and Fay-nights was called..... A way for a youngster to make friends with their enemy if the goddess of the night was called.... All differences would end at the beginning of a new day.
